I cannot imagine having deer in my backyard . You are so lucky ! They are some of the most beautiful creatures on earth and I would probably be feeding them . Glad all be bad weather missed you ! Sitting here waiting for another mover to come and give me an estimate . Wow are they all high ! You would think I was moving from one coast to the other instead of 125 miles . And I don't have all that much furniture to take either . Hope your birthday was a good one !Sherrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12244581004601117188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003681388037877270.post-29052933337053232692016-10-17T21:02:36.988-07:002016-10-17T21:02:36.988-07:00Glad you dodged the tornado...pretty scary. If you keep up with that rain he will be swimming earlier than planned. You have rain and more rain and we are in a drought here in East Tennessee. I can't remember when it last rained enough to make a difference. Hopefully the rain has started to let up. We get home soon and can just imagine all the clean up we are going to need to do, but at least the storms were not quite as bad as expected.

Your impatiens are still so pretty. Such beautiful pictures!!Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13755933774705586510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003681388037877270.post-83791736481741081682016-10-17T05:33:35.001-07:002016-10-17T05:33:35.001-07:00Great news about Wally, and I'm sure he is hap...Great news about Wally, and I'm sure he is happy to be running a little again. Just think, in a few months, it will be a forgotten memory. So glad he is healed well. I notice that the split tendon in Kilo's shoulder is giving him more trouble. I feel badly for him. We have upped his medication, but I can still see that he limps, and like me, when the low pressure systems move in, he does not feel well LOL I don't know if he should have surgery or not. It might ease the pain, but not necessarily correct the problem in total. We love walking in the rain, too, but don't usually have a chance to do that because of the lightning. Sometimes we stand in the open garage or out on the lanai and watch it. Mother Nature is remarkable - she forms a grain of sand, a beautiful mountain of granite, a lake of the purest blue, the lovely orange-pink sunrises, feathery birds, leathery alligators, humans, rain... how does she do it all? LOL I just know that it humbles me to think that I'm part of the Miracle of Life. Hope your day yesterday was extra special!

(ps - yes that young buck did not even look alive!)

xoxoDonna Ellishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16493910748228055970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003681388037877270.post-76899327369810210562016-10-17T03:33:34.415-07:002016-10-17T03:33:34.415-07:00So, so, glad Wally got the green light such good n...So, so, glad Wally got the green light such good news! Yes I did here about the storms out your way, and then all the flooding along the east coast, just terrible weather all around. Love the picture of Rich and the babies, I'm sure they didn't mind the rain, just being about to get out side and romp around, then Rich on the other hand, don't think he is as excited about being out in the rain! The deer pictures do like like monuments, both of them (gorgeous pictures). I know how cool that would be to have deer up into your gardens, but on the other hand I know what kind of damage they can do with eating plants. To have plants so lush at this time of year, my potted plants are pretty much all dead except for the impatients and geraniums, which I find they do better in the cooler weather. Leslie, thanks so much for sharing these pictures today, I always look forward to seeing your babies and your gardens. Have a wonderful day and keep dry!Paulinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17676849205282452084noreply@blogger.com
