Autumn Flourishes

Hello, again!  I thought I’d share another fall card today.  Things are slowing down in the garden somewhat so I’ve got a little more time to stamp.  Already the mornings are chilly, the days are shorter and I’ve been enjoying the time I spend puttering around the house and getting crafty.

AutumnFlourishesSept12

I used two Flourishes sets on this card – the pretty leaves of Autumn Flourishes (retired), and Medallion Motif for the sentiment and dotted circle.  The leaves are stamped in cocoa and rose, and I sprinkled in some lilac splatters using a stamp from SU!’s Itty Bitty Backgrounds (also retired, I think).  The pretty Spellbinders shape is one of the Fancy Tags Three.

Thanks for dropping in today.  See you again soon!

  8. You have such a wonderful feel for colour. I adore the spatter of purple; it just adds so much to the card. It's a winner all the way. But of course, all your cards are.

Just got back from a lovely brisk walk and ended up in my neighbourhood park. Watched a Mallard family scoff their breakfast in one of the ponds. The ducklings are getting big and almost ready for the trip south. The air is crisp and life is oh so good. Thx for sharing your lovely creation. It's fabulous.
