Rootin’ Tootin’ Magnum

I just had to share this photo of Wally’s buddy, Magnum.

COW%20BOY

He spent the day recently with his young friends while his people were at work, and I do believe he had himself a pretty good time.  I’m sorry that I had to crop out the beautiful little girls who dressed him up, but I didn’t have permission to share their photo.  I can just imagine the fun they had.  This is only one of several outfits they posed him in.

Magnum’s Pa doesn’t like to see Magnum dressed up, feeling it’s an insult to his doggie manhood.

Really?

DANCE%20BOY

I guess I could name this photo “Tippy Toe Magnum”.

Seriously, I do respect Magnum’s Pa’s feelings on the issue, but I believe it is a mark of Magnum’s manhood that he could so willingly submit to this treatment for the sake of these little girls’ happiness.  I’ll bet he got lots of hugs and kisses that day.

Enjoy!

  11. Laughing my head off! I love Rootin' Tootin' Magnum - in both costumes!! I would agree with Magnum's pa if you are dressing up your dog on a regular basis (like you see people do). But... when you're at home and you're just having fun for a short period I think there's nothing funnier.

We use to take a white sheet and put it over Lily (our Bull Terrier). She loved it! We'd call to her, "come here ghost dog" She would romp toward us, tail going in circles. The more we laughed the more she'd act up. It was so funny. We also have photo's of her with Elvis glasses with mutton chop sideburns attached - funny stuff. Our daughter would take a tea towel and put it on her like a babushka scarf. Wonderful memories of a dog that brought so much happiness to our family. She was a happy clown! Thanks for these photo's Leslie they're wonderful.

  12. I agree with Magnum's pa too, wee doses of this kind of fun doesn't hurt though. I did enjoy seeing these funny photos. Cowboy Magnum was cute and funny but when reading further down, I nearly choked on my cup of tea when I scrolled down to see Magnum in his fairy costume. Thanks for the giggle. :o)
