Coffee or Tea?

Just a little pretty from the garden.

Gee, look at all that yellow.  Guess I’ve got a thing for it this year.  Have a happy day!

  1. Such a cheerful picture. It brings a smile as well as a warm feeling. These flowers are so pretty, love the yellow, pink and mauve combo. Your gardens are amazing Leslie, I know how much TLC you put into them. We have had rain now for the last 3 days and for the next 3 days, no sun until Tuesday. My garden is growing like crazy with all the rain and heat. I'm hoping my hydrangea's bloom soon!
Leslie thanks for your beautiful comment on my last post. You've touched my heart. It was a hard decision but I think it was for the best.

  3. Leslie, taking all of that sunshine in. We've had rain for lots of days and I'm starting to feel like I'll need to call Noah for a ride.....LOL Thanks for brightening my day with your lovely flowers.

  4. Your garden is gorgeous! Love the pretty flowers in the cups. They are so dainty looking. We have not had rain in quite some time and have had to resort to watering flower beds and trees to keep them alive.

  5. OMGosh! This is what I've been waiting for, Leslie! Look at that beautiful photograph! It's absolutely stunning in it's summertime color. I love the latte and tea cups for a planter - and the yellow looks wonderful *sigh*

I know this sounds daft, but it has a bit of the feel of Lewis Carroll's book, Alice in Wonderland; that we've gone down the rabbit hole; drunk the magic potion and shrunk. I expect the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter to appear at our Tea Party anytime now... How wonderful! Please forgive me I tend to drift off into whimsy at the most inopportune moments. And if you're not familiar with the book, it sounds completely nutty. In case you were wondering, no, I don't drink - just an overactive imagination.

Back to your delightful flower pots and contents... If there is a prize for charm combined with gorgeous flowers, you take home the ribbon for first place. Have a wonderful day!

  10. I lOVE LOVE LOVE these little yellow daisies. They are perennials here, and I encourage them to reseed. They don't care for our summer heat, but thrive in our cold temperatures, even if it freezes. Love that "Alice in Wonderland" feel in your pots. Reminds me of the Mad Hatter ride at disney land when I was a child LOL

Your home looks so sunny and clear. Is that one of Lulu's or Wally's toys in the background LOL
