Oh, Hi!

After days and days of rain, we finally have some sun to bring the blooms back to the flowers and let us resume the business of enjoying the outdoors.  Here, Wally and LuLu are pausing mid-play to send a happy hello to all of you.

Okay, back to play, now . . .

WallyLuLuBallMay2013

There are busy days ahead with picking up the gardening where I left off, and Rich will begin painting the house soon.  It’s getting a bath and some primer in spots, and then a brand new color.  I’ve always wanted a yellow house with white trim, so that’s going to happen this summer.  I’m a little nervous about the change, but I think it will be pretty and cheerful, and change is good, right?  I’ll keep you up to date on the developments.  Enjoy your weekend!

  3. You will never know how much I look forward to your posts Of the "kids". My own Sebrina went over the rainbow bridge this spring. She was ready to go. I miss her but have decided that caring for another dog is just no longer possible for me. So being able to enjoy Wally and Lulu warms me heart. What a special pair they are.
Thank you for sharing them with me through pictures.

  4. Hi back to you guys! Can't wait to see your house all spruced up with the new color. You'll have to do before and after photos. My new windows are going in today. I know that'll make a huge difference in the look of the house from the outside and a big difference inside.

Wally and Lulu look like they are having a joyful time with not a care in the world - as it should be

  7. As always, a "first thing in the morning" peek at those gorgeous kids of yours, and with a backdrop of your beautiful garden, is all this girl needs to jump start her day. Thanks for starting my day off just right. Oh! And the yellow house? Sounds YUMMY! I love yellow, trimmed in white, or black, and it's such a happy color. Your garden grounds will be the perfect backdrop to your new home. Can't wait to see pictures! Have a super day and weekend. Kiss those kids. !

  14. Yellow with white trim...sounds like the perfect cottage colors for your gorgeous gardens. I can't wait to watch the progress :-)

I am in the house after 4 1/2 hrs of deadheading (lots of rhodies) and more. Denny got the beds in the front all edged and the grass finished mowing in only 2 days. It looks gorgeous. We are so lucky to live on the beautiful southern Oregon coast :-) See you soon, Nancy

P.S. Thanks for sharing the kids too !
