What Goes Under Must Come Out

Oh, my goodness, the ball rolled under the deck and not another single thing can be done until it comes out.

And this is how important the ball becomes when someone’s making a sandwich in the kitchen.

We have two cats that are treated like children. Very much loved and entertaining.

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. What we didn't hear were the long exaggerated doggie sighs that come when we humans don't respond as quickly as they think we should. But the look on the face said it all *laughing* Hope you, Rich, and the dogs have a blessed Sunday and make some memories today.

    Hugs,
    Susie ~

  6. I love to watch all of Wally's and LuLu's antics. You are so right about all that we will do for our fur babies. I have 2 Papillions and they are my life as are your babies.

Keep the fun coming, they keep me so entertained.

  9. I just had to laugh out loud! They are SO much like real kids, aren't they! And I have to agree with them....a sandwich beats a ball ANY time!

  10. Don't know how many times my doggie comes and gets me to "save" his ball or stuffed animal! Glad Rich came to the rescue!

  13. Leslie, your pictures are a perfect story. What a performance and then yep, no interest at all while something better is getting done. Wally and Lulu are just the cutest.

  14. Tremendous focus! Perfect concentration! Until the sandwich appears, eh; then "uh ball? what ball?" They are a hoot; so natural, so lovable. Wouldn't the world be a different place if we could behave like our animals.

  15. LOL, we have had that happen a couple times around here, of course when our cats go under the deck and decided they don't want to come out there is nothing we can do :)

  16. Awwwww. . . so cute! I'm glad to see that someone else has a purpose for that broom besides sweeping. I'm always having to rescue toys from under the sofa where they can't go anymore since they've grown up.

  18. hahahahaha - thanks for sharing the adventures - yes, nothing is more important than the tennis ball when it become inaccessible! Too funny. Don't you just love when their ears get in that position, and they are so attentive? At least your puppies just "sigh" and behave at the sandwich making. Mine watches and drools all over the floor! LOL Thanks for sharing the latest saga :-)

  19. All dogs must be the same... Our little Beggle Belle is the same way with her ball,,, if it goes under something it's a MUST to get out then if you go into the kitchen all bets are off on the ball and it's now what can I con them out of here..... She is so Loved I just don't know what we would do without her.

  21. hee hee Isn't it funny how hard we work at getting the toys out of those compromising places. All to have them just watch you and wonder when will they get it, when can I play.. come on dad... hee hee Super cute as always Leslie.

  23. You know how much I love reading these stories. I also spend some time down on my knees sweeping something up under pieces of furniture looking for a little yellow tennis ball. My problem is I get down and I have trouble getting back up. One of these days I will wind up spending the day in the floor until someone comes to find me. Of course Bella and Maggie will think it is the most fun!

  24. This post totally cracked me up when it landed in my email inbox. I shared it with my husband, who knows how much I love animals. He smiled at that last photo of the ball sitting all by its lonesome!
