The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

The Labor Day weekend which just passed marked 42 years with the love of my life.

Brace yourself for a real blast from the past.

Consider the times – early ‘70s -- and the fact that we had a very casual Reno wedding after driving all night to get there.

  8. I'm sitting here with such a lump in my throat! These pictures are beautiful & I am so glad you shared them with us! I always love it when I hear that anyone has just celebrated another year of marriage & still loves their mate even more than the last year. That is so rare these days & something you can both be so proud of. You don't get that kind of blessing unless you both work on it. And I have to agree with Dawn. You are just as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside! I just feel blessed to call you friend! Happy Anniversary!

  9. Happy Anniversary! What wonderful photos and I'm so happy you shared them with us. I met Jim 42 years ago and we've been married for nearly 40 years. I am the same age as you. And we had our first child in 1975. Such similarities. We just have grandchildren instead of Wally and Lulu. :) Oh, and I'm still in love with my hubby, too!

  13. Happy Anniversary to you both. So many sweet memories. Thank you for sharing and may you have many many more...BTW, we have welcomed a big foot, but sweet Great Dane into our family. I just couldn't convince my daughter to get a Golden. There are just so very many breeds to choose from. And other than my having to do lunges around him in my craft room (Tell me that's a good thing.), I love him to pieces. If you scroll down on my blog, there is a pic or two. I don't have the beautiful garden you do for backgrounds.
