Sand ‘n Slobber

There was a lot going on around here for a while.  Seemed like spring was really underway… then my husband hurt his back.  Not to worry.  It put a temporary limit on our outdoor activities, but Wally and LuLu are happy to do the running while Rich and I watch from the sidelines.  I expect things will return to normal soon.  No permanent damage other than what the years lay on as a matter of course.  These two look happy enough, don’t they?  Big smiles.

This afternoon I have a wedding to attend, but I’ll want to get the kids out for a good run as well as spend some time in the garden.  Same old thing, maybe, but every memory is precious.  Enjoy your weekend!

  6. What wonderful photos (and the subjects aren't bad either)! I particularly like the first photo where little Lulu has a hold on Wally's tail. I was dismayed to hear about Rich's ailing back. Sounds just awful, but I'm glad he's resting it. I hope he heals soon. Thanks for sharing your precious duo - I so enjoy them.

Hope Rich mends up quickly. Back pain is all it's cracked up to be. No question about it - pain hurts. The widdle woggies look like they're having a ball. Brings a smile to my face everytime.

  12. I so enjoy looking for your pictures of your buddies - especially today, when we found out that our little Chihuahua my daughter just got has a liver disease and is dying. He is only 10 weeks old and weighs 1 lb. He is so cute and so little for this burden. So your pictures today lifted my spirits and I thank you for that. Best wishes to hubby on a speedy recovery!

  13. Again, thanks for sharing your lovely photos of your two gorgeous dogs. I'm sorry to hear Rich has injured his back. Tell him to take it easy, Wally and LuLu are managing to keep themselves entertained and look like they're having fun. They're so lucky to have such dedicated, caring "parents" and have access to such lovely places to run and play, hopefully without trailing Rich too far while he's feeling delicate.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery Rich. Dogs are supposed to be good for our health so you're on the right track.
