Getting Ready for Spring
Our weather has been alternating between rainy and sunny lately. We’re glad for the rain, which we sorely need, and it does make us appreciate the sunny days even more. We have to take it a moment at a time in regard to the weather, but one thing is certain – we’re getting ready for spring on the southern Oregon coast.
The butterfly bush got its annual hair cut last weekend.
Of course, Wally and LuLu turn everything into an event.
There’s not much of it left at this point, but it’s trimmed down to a near nubbin every February. . .
And by summer it looks like this again:
Ohhhhh, doesn’t that make you long for spring? It will come. Promise.

A Good Day
Just sharing a bit of peace and tranquility in the middle of winter’s turmoil. What’s he looking at with those beautiful, intelligent eyes?
Oh, I see. . . it’s just his goofy little sister.
We’re having some rain, finally, and wind, just like a normal winter day, but it feels like the banana belt here compared to many areas of the country. Wally and LuLu had a play day in the woods behind our house, and then each had a bath before settling down for a nice, long nap. A good day. I hope you had a good day, as well. Furry hugs!

Taking the Kids to the Park
I don’t know why I didn’t share these photos in November when they were taken, but when I looked at them again today they made me laugh out loud. I hope you enjoy them, too.
We took Wally and LuLu to a little park way off the beaten path. You wouldn’t know it was there unless you knew it was there, if you know what I mean. We had the place to ourselves, so might as well have some fun, right?
Wheeeeeeeeeee!
Am I mistaken, or does it look like he enjoyed himself?
Wish I could try that!
Had to give the teeter totter a go, too. You can see how that worked out.
Rich took pictures of me on the merry-go-round, but they were all just a blur. Had that thing going pretty good! I know, I know… grow up already. Nah. Been there, done that.
I hope you can have a little fun today, however you define it. Love from me and the family!
