Outside Looking in and Inside Looking Out
Hi, there! Today I just have a couple of photos to share. I’ve been looking through the files and revisiting some photos I rather like but have never posted because there’s really no story to tell. Well, why not just share them, hmmm? You know they’re my favorite subjects.
The first is LuLu at the kitchen patio door last November. She’s got it pretty steamed up. Don’t you just love nose art?
And here’s Wally at the same patio door a month earlier when there were still a few flowers blooming outside. I love the light in this one.
And that’s that. Just a little something to look at for the time being. Enjoy your day!

Photo Shoot Rejects
I recently asked Rich to take some pictures of me with Wally and LuLu. I knew we’d have to shoot a lot of photos to get one good one out of the bunch, but 99 photos later. . . really???
Okay, in the first one I’m grimacing and I’ve got the dogs in a headlock, and who is this chubby-cheeked old lady, anyway?
Now you can see why I had them in a headlock. A little too much love going on here.
Rich liked this next one, and it would be pretty cute except my mouth is screwed up and my eyes are nearly closed. I know I’m not photogenic, but, do I really look like that? Seriously??
This last one is my favorite, but where’s Wally? Oh, and, by the way, I guess Rich doesn’t believe in zoom so these were all big scenic pictures with me and the dogs as tiny, distant subjects. I had to crop them down to bring us into closer view, which made the photos very small.
Since I’m always the one behind the camera, I very seldom have my picture taken anymore, but for the photo books and posterity it needs to be recorded that I was actually a part of our lives. I guess more photo shoots are in order. Take care, and enjoy your day!

This is How We Wash the Windows
It starts out like this – just a beautiful pre-spring day, washing away the winter blahs to let all the sunshine in.
And it turns into this:
Do me again, Rich! Do me!
After you get good and wet you have to be sure and lay in the dirt.
And that’s how we wash the windows at Wally and LuLu’s house. Have a happy day!

Smiles for Your Saturday
How is it that Wally loves to swim, loves to have buckets of water thrown on him, goes totally nutty with happiness when you squirt him with the hose, yet he hides in his doghouse if he has the slightest inkling that it might be bath time? Honestly, we have to barricade the doghouse door, and we dare not let him see the shampoo bottle until the last minute when we've got a good hold on him. He’s wise to the preparations – towels, rain pants and boots, and the “ho hum, nothing’s going on, just another day in the backyard” act we put on. The funny thing is, once he realizes he has no choice in the matter he’s really quite okay with it.
Happy, even.
I’m such a good boy. I was just kidding with that business in the doghouse.
Yes, he is a very good boy, and he hears that from us countless times each day. We love our Wally! Have a happy weekend!
