Squinty Eyed in the Sun
Love those sunny days to hang out all squinty eyed on the deck, just soaking it in after the long winter.
I can’t see a thing, but it sure feels good.
That’s last year’s Bacopa beyond Wally, off to a good start without any help from me.
It looks like we’re in for a stretch of good weather and I’m thinking now’s the time to get some flower shopping done and pots planted. I’m so looking forward to seeing the garden in full bloom again! I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

So good to see these lovelies this morning. It's too cold here, yet, to think about yard stuff.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful goldens! Great to know someone is having nice weather!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell they are enjoying the sunshine. I started planting some flowers here and this morning.....frost around! Hoping everything is ok. We are at 33 degrees! Where is Spring!
ReplyDeleteI think Wally and Lulu agree that everybody needs a little sunshine vitamin D! I'll bet it feels as good to them as it does to us. The sun is peeking out today after a series of down pours yesterday. Welcome back to the east coast where it really gets hot and muggy. Happy flower shopping this weekend. I'm looking forward to some beautiful garden photo's Leslie.
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful and look like they are happy to be out in the sunshine. I'll be so happy for some Spring even though we have sunshine, it's a bit chilly here. I' in the middle of installing a patio in the back yard and then will be working on the flower beds.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful babies, and they look so happy, sunshiney happy!! Lucky you to have flowers and get to start your pots....we had snowy ice last night, my poor daffodils are shivering...looks like Monday is our only afternoon here to maybe get outside...I can hardly wait! Have a nice weekend!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Your weather sounds awesome!!! We just had eleven more inches of snow on Thursday/Friday. :( This has been a very unusual winter for us, and I can't say I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweeties! It was sunny earlier this morning but now few scatter of rain, dull and cold. Brrr.
ReplyDeleteTer ;)
Living proof that it's a dog's life! Thanks for sharing these great pictures!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to feel the warm sun on your back after a long cold winter! I find all of us creatures get this joyful sun-drunk look on our faces in the spring on sunny days. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love touching their coats when they are sitting in the sun like that...so warm and silky! It was cold here yesterday rain and shine-it could not decide what to do. Windy and sunny today-I'll take that over rain!
ReplyDeleteI can feel the warmth....
ReplyDeleteThe sun does that to me too. LOL I can't wait to see your garden in full bloom!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have flowers blooming already! We are expecting rain/sleet & more snow tomorrow. Ours has been an endless winter this year! The "kids" look so content soaking up the sun. I can't wait until we can do that here too! Enjoy your beautiful weather!
ReplyDeleteIt was warm here today so I planted flowers myself. Ranger likes the sun for about 5 min then he gets too hot. :0) They look content in the sunshine and relaxing. Hope your week is wonderful Leslie.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I can relate to squinting in the sun and feeling the warmth. However, it's from memory since we haven't had those kinds of days for a long time here in Ohio. Your kids are so cute. Thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteWe are finally getting some sun here too, and warmer weather, YAH!!! I too can't wait for things to start blooming, all the trees have started to bloom but our plants are having a later start than normal
ReplyDeleteI am headed outside to squint and weed :-) Wally and Lulu squint, but not sure if you have taught them to weed yet, but maybe occasionally dig ? TFS Leslie
ReplyDeleteLove those squinty eyes. Animals always seem to really soak up the sun rays.
