This is How We Wash the Windows

It starts out like this – just a beautiful pre-spring day, washing away the winter blahs to let all the sunshine in.

And it turns into this:

Do me again, Rich!  Do me!

After you get good and wet you have to be sure and lay in the dirt.

And that’s how we wash the windows at Wally and LuLu’s house.  Have a happy day!

  1. I love waking up early on weekends, grab a coffee and checking out all my posts in my Feedly acct. When I come across your posts Leslie of the 'goldens' it just makes me happy. Your photos of the 'kids' always brings a smile to my face. These are priceless! Happy day to you as well - enjoy!

  4. Maybe I wouldn't mind Washington windows if I had this much fun doing it!

  5. They are so funny, aren't they? Our german shepherd used to chase the "rainbird sprinkler" as it shot out the water and moved from side to side. It was impossible to water the grass if he was outside because the spinkler never stayed in one place. He learned to put his paw on the sprinkler to keep it from moving so he could bit the water's steady stream LOL - this is the same dog who enjoyed biting the wheels on the lawn mower, making it difficult to push the mower in the grass LOL - he loved being sprayed just like your goldens, but he detested being bathed. LOL thanks for sharing your "window" washing day! LOL hugs, de

  9. LOL! "You have to lay in the dirt"! But of course. Why wouldn't they want to get all good and muddy, and ready for a -- dare I say it? -- a BATH! Do they realize laying in mud leads to a bath??

  10. I am so jealous of all that green grass! WOW! Everything here in Iowa is still that ugly brown! My windows need washed too, but with the temps still so close to (or below) freezing, it's going to be awhile before that happens! Can I borrow Wally & LuLu to help when I do??? lol

Getting caught up on my mail after a cold took the wind out of my sails for a bit. All good now though. The three of them should patent their window-washing technique. It looks like a pile of fun for all. Who’d a thunk work could be so entertaining! Thanks for the chuckles and a great post.
