Great Day in the Morning

This photo opportunity happens only occasionally and those occasions are always in the wintertime when the sky is clear and the sun is at a certain angle in the morning.  The moment passes so quickly there's not much time to react.  I opened my craft room window and leaned out with my phone to snap this pic.  If I'd taken the time to grab my DSLR camera and go outside for a better view I may have missed the shot.  It's not too bad, considering.




It was the start of a beautiful day.

    OHHHH! How breathtakingly GLORIOUS, Leslie! Thanks for posting this - I just love watching the sun's rays filter through trees. This is so pretty, it should be a Christmas Card! We must have been thinking alike. This morning I walked out with my iPad and photographed the sun rising above the trees in a panorama style photo. Not sure how it will come out, but maybe pretty. My trusty iPad does not have the camera you have, but still captures some interesting moments!

    Oh wow, Gorgeous, there are times when you just have to grab your phone and get it captured before it is gone.
    The first thing that came to mind is the verse and the glory of the Lord shone around them :) Beautiful capture!
