Beautiful daylilies- mine haven't bloomed yet. Your gardens remind me of the rainforest - so lush and full of colour. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.
Such beautiful colors, we have some yellow tiger lilies out front but our Purple Iris's are squezing them out, I think we need to thin down the Iris's again!
Leslie, I just love your beautiful garden and the photos you share with us. Such beauty!!! I thank God every day for eye sight to see these. Thanks for sharing and making us all smile... BIG ! :-) Between Wally, Lulu, your garden and your own beauty, we are very lucky, indeed!
I have old orange daylilies that were here when we moved to this house 36 years ago! I really don't care for them, but they are persistent plants. This must have been a good year for them, too, because they are blooming beautifully.
Sigh. These are gorgeous, Leslie. I will never tire of looking at your garden. :)
I have a few daylilies remaining in my garden, but used to have many more. My in-laws' friends, who are Master Gardeners, and were at one time on the Daylily Association board (or something like that), had given all of us some baby daylily plants when they did their dividing. Oh, how I loved mine! Not sure what happened along the way. Don't know if they 'petered out', or if I accidentally composted them when I did my own dividing. Now, I've only got some Stella d'Oro left, and some traditional classic orange daylilies that you would find growing alongside highways. Kind of plain, but they add some sparkle to the garden anyway!
