The landscape out there is amazing this year. There's water everywhere...
And Wally and LuLu do love the water.
Everywhere you look -- more water...
And dunes, of course...
And wildflowers -- Lupine, compact, but thriving in the sand...
Scotch Broom, struggling to survive underwater...
Some spots are shallow...
But most are deep enough for a good swim. Here's Wally enjoying the moment:
Just a couple more pics... Wooly LuLu:

We trekked miles and miles out there and had two exhausted puppies when we returned home, but what a good time we had. Such a great place for Golden Retrievers and anyone who marvels over nature. Hope you enjoyed! Have yourself a happy week!
What a gorgeous area you have to enjoy Leslie. Bill and I would be in heaven in a place like this, as you know how much we love to hike and enjoy the outdoors. A perfect place for Wally & Lulu to explore. Thanks so much for sharing another one of your outings. This post brings a smile to my face! Have yourself a 'happy' week as well.
ReplyDeleteWow, what an awesome spot to spend hours and hours! It's beautiful and I'm also surprised that you had it all to yourselves! Your pups are so precious!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most precious dogs. But they sure like your husband. I suppose they need baths when they get home to get the sands out of them. The spot you went to is beautiful! Very fortunate to live so close to these beautiful spots. Have not seen any of your cards lately and you are such a wonderful card maker. Marcie
ReplyDeleteThank you for the visit to the dunes. I have never seen so much water in our dunes. They have always been one of our very favorite places to take our kids and grandkids, especially the areas closed to motorized vehicles. Beautiful photos Leslie of the your kids and daddy Rich! TFS my friend. We were gardening, but got even to hot for that in the shade. So sat under the trees with fruit smoothies and cooled off. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics of the pups - and what a great place to visit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely outing you just gave me! I totally enjoyed my walk along the water's edge and of course Wally and LuLu just make everything wonderful. I'm getting Bella a new sister the second week in July. Shhhhh...I haven't really told her yet. Just a hint here and there!
