In the garden beyond, a web draping heavily with overnight rain-jewels:
Two leaves, embracing, caught mid-tumble in another bejeweled web:
The Willow Leaf Maple, while colorful all summer, blazes most brilliantly as it prepares for winter:
Another stop at the succulent pot before I head back indoors. The camera caught what my eyes did not notice -- droplets falling from the bud to the leaves below.
Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own...

ReplyDeleteWhile I am not fond of spiders, your photo of the web draped in rain drops is worthy of framing and being hung on the wall. Don't you just love what only Mother Nature can do?

Wow Leslie, these are gorgeous! I love how you captured each and every one. It's amazing how much detail the camera captures. I love the web with all the raindrops, amazing! Love the knobby top mushroom as well, and those cute little ones popping up around it. The colour of the willow leaf maple is gorgeous, love the vibrant red! Thanks for sharing such amazing photos of Mother nature today. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteYou've captured Nature at her best - of course, I think she is always at her best - I love watching the huge, dark skies race inland to pelt the land with her rain, and to see the beauty afterwards. But your photos showcase the beauty in the small places, that we might overlook in our haste to run from one dry space to another. This morning, our dew was so heavy, that jeweled droplets hung from the roof of the "pool cage", twinkling in the dusky morning's light. I love seeing the colors reflected in the water droplets - like in your photos - how the water is a different color in each setting! I wonder if we are the same way? Does our "essence" remain as it is, but our outward appearance change depending what we are reflecting? Beautiful blog share today, Leslie! Thank you! xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous pictures love the succulents and baby mushrooms -brilliant how you captured all the raindrops and delicate webs -natures art!!!
