May Garden and Stuff

Hi, there!  Just miscellaneous this and that today, but I did want to check in here.  I've been busy both outside and inside.  Mornings I go to my stamp room and do whatever coloring I have time for.  However, I look out the window and the garden calls to me.  There is a little color showing here and there.

Next up is our Wally who keeps us in stitches.  I love a guy with a sense of humor.  His new thing --every night after dinner, but before sniffy walk, he decided it would be fun to drag the sleeping bag out of the spare room and onto the couch.  Every single night.  It actually was a comical sight and since we didn't feel it warranted scolding, we just laughed and made a big fuss over him.  Every single night.  I know... he holds us in the palm of his paw.  Rich finally took the sleeping bag out to the motor home where it's supposed to be in the first place.

Who's taking whom for after dinner sniffy walk?  I'm on the other end of the leash, but, clearly, LuLu's the one in charge.  A neighborhood friend we sometimes meet up with snapped this picture.  The angle makes LuLu's legs look so short!

Well, I'd better get a move on.  As I write this we've just finished dinner and are getting ready to go for sniffy walk.  The wind's blowing again and it's cold, but Wally and LuLu need to see what's new in the neighborhood.  Have a good weekend!

  1. Wow! More pictures of "our" fur babies! You can count your blessings I don't live close to you! I'd be there every day loving on them and spoiling them rotten! Loved that photo of Wally with the sleeping bag! If I had a garden as beautiful as yours, I'd be out there all day! I'm so glad you share your little corner of heaven with us! Hugs!

  2. I love that you called it a "sniffy" walk. Means they are out just meandering around the neighborhood having a fun time. What did Wally think about his sleeping bag disappearing out to the motor home? I am slowing getting my gardens all planted. I just put two begonias and 2 impatiens out in my rock garden with a few small succulents.

  4. What a fabulous grouping of evening photos! But first - you say a LITTLE color here and there - oh my goodness! SPLASHES of lovely color so intense, that it is a feast for the eyes! It's gorgeousness always makes me sigh and appreciate all the work you do hand-in-hand with Mother Nature. Simply breathtaking. j

I think Wally was asking for a road trip with the sleeping bag incident - a sniffy walk just doesn't do it for him - he wants to go somewhere! LOL very cute. Maybe Lulu was pretending to be in an old fashioned "fun house" like they used to have at fairs. Wonderful peeks into your beautiful, fun-filled life, Leslie! xx

Your garden looks amazing Leslie, all the rain has helped all of us so much, thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures.
We're getting a rain break, the sun is out and the sky is blue, so we're outside cleaning up and applying a bit more mulch.
    Have a fabulous weekend.
    Hugs.

  14. Oh your garden is just gorgeous, I would love to do something like that in our yard but I am just not that ambitious anymore. We had a beautiful day yesterday, today started out sunny but turning cloudy as we have more rain tomorrow. Wally just cracks me up, I love that he went to get his own sleeping bag to rest before his sniffy walk. Lulu looks very happy on her walk!
