We’ve had a very rainy week. Not just a light sprinkle here and there, but some honest to goodness soakers. My husband calls this month “Junuary” (January weather in June). The sun came out Wednesday, however, and we emerged from our cozy den to enjoy it.
LuLu likes to play in the sprinkler. You’d wonder why we had to turn the sprinkler on between the rain showers, but we have newly reseeded patches in the lawn.
This seems to be as good a way as any to dispose of the weeds…
When will summer arrive? I hope you’re staying dry and enjoying your weekend. Wally and LuLu send their love. Take care!
I love the photos of your 2 kids enjoying the garden. Is that your azalea behind them in the first photo? It's gorgeous. It rained here yesterday too, but though the sun was out this morning for a wee while, it's hiding in the clouds now. I'm just about to take my two girls out for their walk before the rain comes back on.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some rain! We've had summer here, for sure. I enjoyed seeing the newest pictures of Wally and Lulu.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a lot of rain and cool weather. Hopefully we can get on with summer! Great pictures, love the pups!
ReplyDeleteReally fun photos. The first one is so beautiful. We are currently in Northwest Washington and we've had more than our share of rain!
ReplyDeleteWe could use your rain. It has been dry here & HOT all week. Today is going to hit mid to upper 90's. Your photos are so beautiful. I really wish you would send them in to dog calendars. They would be picked in a minute! Then everyone could enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteOMG is it ever lush on the Southern Oregon Coast, but we could sure use some sun breaks. Not that the dogs mind. TFS
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs back to LuLu and Wally. Your garden is looking healthy and beautiful. So do the pups.
ReplyDeleteWe’ve had a few torrential downpours this spring with flooding in the Metro (subway), basements, and underpasses. The most recent of which was yesterday. Of course, these deluges are accompanied with spectacular thunder and lightning. Mother Nature puts on quite a show.
Oh for some rain! We are now in the three digits for the remaining summer/early fall. But... we are approaching the monsoon season with it's beautiful billowing clouds each day and ground to cloud lighting shows at night. We hope we'll see more rain with this monsoon season than last year. Your garden looks lovely and Wally and Lulu are adorable. Hugs to all of you this beautiful Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of weeds here...send 'em my way! LOL...weather here sunny, windy and cold!!!
ReplyDeleteLulu and Wally make me "almost" want to get a dog!! I love these babies!
ReplyDeleteAll that rain makes for a lush garden, I wish we could get some here, really need it badly to help put out the fires in the Gila! The fires are a hundred miles or more away, but we are still getting some of the smoke! I can't remember when it rained last...we live in the desert region of N. M.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful puppies decorate your garden so wonderfully with the flowers in the back ground! Thank you for sharing these gorgeous photos with us. :))
Oh to be more like Wally and Lulu who don't seem to care what the weather is like. They are just delightful. Here I'm a little tired of all the rain and yes, "When will Summer Arrive?"
ReplyDeleteThey look so happy and are glad to be outside in the sunshine. We have had the rain too, infact record high for us here for the whole year. Sheesshhh.. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the sprinkler shot...fun!
ReplyDeleteOh... I just figured the sprinkler was on for LuLu's obvious delight *g*. Those two are priceless and come along just when a smile is needed.
ReplyDeletewell, your kids seem happy to be outside! and your azaleas are gorgeous! (or are they rhodies?) summer's here in sacramento! mid/high 90's all week. and yesterday, winds that almost took the fence down!

It sure makes you appreciate the sun shine when you haven't had it in awhile doesn't it. I noticed Peanut was eating some weeds the other day, and was hoping she was ok, that seemed strange to me
ReplyDeleteWinter here in Australia and this morning was a touch cool. lol Wally and Lulu always seem to be having a good time. Keep dry.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it gladdens your heart to see them running around and playing and just having a darn good time!
