When the flowers bloom my heart is happy.
I smile at the warmth of sunshine in a pot.
I’m charmed by the sweetness of a delicate pink.
A vibrant red wakes up my senses.
And, of course, everything looks better with a little gold.
Have yourself a wonderful day!
thank you for a walk in your garden! Each pot brings a mystery of loveliness. Is that an eggplant in the bottom pot? nawwww, it couldn't be. LOL None of these flowers can grow in our area, so I am enjoying them immensely on your blog! Such sweet tiny pink flowers on top, and WONDERFUL stripe yellow blooms - I love those. Thans for sharing, Leslie and be sure to thank Lulu, too! hugs, de

ReplyDeleteI love seeing each individual pot, but I bet it looks awesome when you look out over it all together. I'm still working on mine. A work in progress. Love seeing the sweet Lulu enjoying a walk through the garden too.
ReplyDeleteMy hear is happy when the flowers bloom as well. My pots are doing great, but the annuals that I planted in my beds are slow growing. It is finally getting warmer here but the rain and cloudy days are keeping them from growing. Sigh :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous post Leslie! Today is the first day in 10 days or so that it's sunny so I'll look at your beautiful colors until mine catch up! Thanks for sharing the gold. You have such a way with words. Thanks for making me smile this morning.
ReplyDeleteBoy, am I enjoying all your beautiful flowers! It is stormy here AGAIN...days with sunshine have been few & far between this year. I don't know how anything will grow with so little sunshine & so much rain. You have an amazing touch with flowers!

Oh I do love seeing photo's of your beautiful garden. Each pot has a beauty all it's own. I love the little underpinning of blue peeking out of what looks to be Pink Cosmos Daisy. There is nothing like an early morning walk through the garden or at sunset *sigh* We had company last weekend, and a chance to take a wonderful slow walk through our neighborhood gardens. Our husbands teased us about being so slow. Sorry guys, we ladies have to stop, admire, and talk about each plant - am I right? It was a wonderful weekend. Looks like yours was too. Hope Rich had a super Father's Day. He really deserved it after all the painting. I love Vance to pieces, but I would NOT turn him loose painting the house! One day I'll post the story of our house painting experience (the early years) *laughing* Thankfully we are quick learners and decided early that if we were going to stay married we'd better have someone else do the painting *laughing* Love that touch gold - you're so clever *tehehe* : )
ReplyDeleteHugs,
