Hello, and happy Saturday to you! I don’t seem to have much in the way of good photos this week, but I thought Wally and the coffee mugs looked cute together. Just taking a break at the picnic table.
The butterflies always come around when the butterfly bush is in bloom. I guess that’s why they call it a butterfly bush.
I’ll try to get some better photos this weekend. Rich is still painting the house and Wally and LuLu are beginning to wonder if he’ll ever finish. They don’t seem to think it’s enough to only go swimming twice a week, tsk tsk. Enjoy your weekend!
I tried growing a butterfly bush here in Illinois with no success. (They do grow here, though.) They are so beautiful. Love the photo of Wally. Looking forward to seeing the paint job.

ReplyDeleteOh, we seldom get butterflies that color here in Florida - but we have tons of butterflies here in a pretty assortment of colors from green to black to white and even orange - I make sure there are plenty of pink, red and purple flowers for them which they share with the hummingbirds and bees. Your photography skills are wonderful, Leslie, and I never tire of seeing your kidlets and flower garden. Looks like Wally is trying to retrieve the mugs for you. The fact that you have sunshine on a Saturday is awesome! We have had nothing, but rain! Where oh where has the sunshine gone? It looks like you and Rich are enjoying it. : ) Wonderful Saturday photo's of Wally and the garden. Nothing like a mug of coffee and Saturday chat before getting the paint cans out for that final coat. We're all waiting to see the beautiful results. But ... until then, make time for some fun in the sunshine. Wally and Lulu are counting on it. : )

ReplyDeleteMy newly planted butterfly bush is finally starting to grow. Since we had a long cooler spring, the plant didn't grow much until now. :)
He looks like he is asking where is my cup :) I didn't know there was a butterfly bush, see you teach something new even when you don't think you have much to share, Have a great weekend!

My daughter has some butterfly bushes & they are beautiful too. Wally looks so happy you are outside sharing the day with him. Love the mugs!! Whose mug is the cat mug? ha ha

Leslie, Wally looks so sweet in that picture with your mugs. Your butterfly bush with the butterfly is just beautiful. Our bush didn't come up this year sad to say. I loved it for the same reason you do, the pretty flowers and gorgeous butterflies that visit! Thanks for sweet, smile-inducing pictures today.

Isn't it delightful to watch butterflies? As years go by, I see fewer and fewer. It worries me. Saw a pretty yellow and black one like yours and it was such a treat.

Our butterflys are really out this year... guess it's because everything is in bloom at the same time with all the rain we've been getting... it's great!
