Just Me with Wally and LuLu and Heron No. 9

Hello!  We're out camping again.  Today I have just a couple of pics from our last trip.  At that time we didn't have the most desirable site in the park, but currently we've got one of the BEST sites in the park.  Huge, private, and perfect for the dogs.

Darnell said I should give the camera to Rich once in a while, so that's what I did here.  LuLu is tucked into the crook of my arm.  Wally was apparently more interested in something across the way.

No. 9 is a heron.  Just one of many water birds that hang out around the lake.  How would you like the job of cleaning off the sign?  BTW, No. 9 is simply a mooring post.  It's not really Heron No. 9... but maybe...  At the Grand Canyon I photographed a Condor that carried the number 80 on his wing.

That's all I have for now.  I'll be back when photographs happen.  Take good care!

  1. Well nice to see pics of you and your fur babies...good thought Darnell!! Yikes no I would not want to clean off that sign, but what a pretty bird, our Herons here a grayish blue, right now mama duck and her ducklings are outside on the shore of Lake 'Huron'! Nice to see you get to vacation a bit this year, I think we all need that once in awhile, good for the soul! Have fun and enjoy!!

  17. Hi Leslie, I always love to follow a fellow golden owner. We are a big club that KNOW that goldens are just the most amazing dogs in the world! Wally and Lulu are adorable and I can tell from the photos (I have enjoyed browsing) how much they enjoy being part of your family, and know how much they are loved. These dogs are such experts at becoming part of our lives aren't they. They want to be involved in everything and quite right too! You were right in your comment on my blog: Eva is absolutely a part of my family and her needs are considered just as much as everyone else's. She is a very happy girl :)
Thanks for your visit, Vicky x
