Hello? Does anyone see this? It's been a year since I posted. A year ago I was feeling pretty overwhelmed and tired and I wasn't sure if I could keep up with everything. I have occasionally posted dogs and garden on my stamping blog, but I always feel a little sheepish about that. What do you think? Here, there, a little of both? Now that I'm retired I'm missing this blog.
Our dear, sweet big puppy, Wally, had a birthday on June 27. He turned 7 years old and he's still as beautiful as ever.
We love him so much! I'll come back with more if it sounds like a good idea. Happy birthday, Wally, and a happy weekend to all of you!
Hi Leslie, I was thinking about Wally this morning, I remembered his birthday was at the end of June.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Wally, time flies too fast, I can't believe you're 7 already, you've a few silver hairs now but you're still a gorgeous "pup"!
Hugs Alexandra x
I have wondered so many times how your babies are doing! I haven't seen pics of either of them in such a long time. Wally is so handsome but it breaks my heart that he is starting to show his age! I always hate when they have to get old!! Wally, hope you have a wonderful birthday and many, many more!
ReplyDeleteLeslie,
ReplyDeleteI love both of your blogs. I have a friend who has golden and I always share your posts with her. Hope you continue. I always enjoy photos of Wally & Lulu.
Always enjoy seeing anything about Lulu and Wally.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see photos of beautiful Wally and happy that you have resurrected Goldens and Gardens. Your G&G blogs brings such peace and calmness to my spirit. I'm sure that you made sure Wally had a happy birthday. Give my love to Lulu too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it matters where we see your happy gorgeous dogs as long as we see them. I love your garden and your dogs. Every Saturday I hope there will be a picture of Wally and Lulu. I'm glad they're back. It really is true that they lighten my day - silly isn't it.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing photos of Wally and Lulu anywhere you post them! I also love seeing your beautiful creations. So, more of everything please :)
ReplyDeleteWow! I remember when he was just a puppy and you had just brought him home! Happy Woofday to Wally!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Wally ! Since I can't be there in person to give you a birthday hug and a lot of kisses I'm sure your mom and dad will do that for me ! Age has only made you more beautiful than ever ! I think your mom should keep both blogs so we can follow you and your sister .
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the pictures of Wally. I enjoy seeing them, whether they are on your stamping blog or on this separate one. Like seeing the garden shots, too!
ReplyDeleteI myself don't mind to see these kind of posts on a stamping blog too, that is why I share some of my pics on mine but I know some think it should be separate.... Wally is looking terrific, the first is my favorite of him :) Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteMe too :) Love your stories of the "kids" and of course follow your crafting blog too.
ReplyDeletePlease keep posting about the puppies (dogs) I just love how much YOU love them. I like to see how nice you and your husband treat the dogs. It warms my heart! I love their silly antics and I laugh when you tell us how BEAUTIFUL their prizes are that they bring in the house.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Wally. We have been missing posts about you and your sister!! You are both beautiful and well loved.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Wally! I know sometimes life gets in the way but I always enjoy seeing pictures of Wally and Lulu when you get a chance! Have a wonderful 4th of July weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes, please please keep posting! I love to see pictures of the "kids". Wally and I share the same birthday! Give him hugs from me! Sincerely, Beverly.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Wally, You are looking as handsome as ever. I've missed seeing you & LuLu on the blog. Hope you'll both pop in again. Wishing you many more happy birthday's to come.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Wally. Tell your mom to post on any blog about you and Lulu. Have missed seeing you guys and have wondered what you've been up to.
ReplyDeleteA VERY happy birthday to you, Wally! As far as I'm concerned, your Mom can post pics of you and your sister, wherever she wants, because you always make me smile. Both of you! I have a kitty named Angie, and seeing you and your sister, always brings a BIG smile to my face, and even little Miss Angie smiles when she sees you! So, tell Mom.... "the ladies out in blog land want me on EVERY blog you have Mom". Love you all! kiss kiss...smooch smooch. Oh, and one for Mom and Dad too! :-)
ReplyDeleteWally has gray hair....he was just a pup! I miss you Goldens and Gardens....I'm so happy you're retired! I hope yo are enjoying everything you didn't have time for! Love you Leslie!
ReplyDeletefunny to see this today! just yesterday, i was culling an old email folder and came across some (very) old postings of yours! i looked through seeing wally grow and adding lulu to the family, etc. i always enjoyed your artwork too. so, sure, keep posting whenever you want! i rarely comment because i get these in my emails. hope you are enjoying retirement..but if you think you are going to have a lot of extra time now, think again! lol! i don't know how i got all this stuff done while i was working! wally is looking very distinguished with his middle-aged white muzzle!

Wally is as handsome as ever! I adore Wally and Lulu. I love them here. I love them there. I love them everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI have sure missed this blog and your babies. Happy birthday Wally. Don't let him hear me tell you but I am so surprised how white his face has turned. He is still a gorgeous boy just looking a bit more mature. So glad to hear you retired. Now you can breathe deeply and do exactly what you want!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Wally Old Boy!!!!!!! I agree with everyone, he is so Handsome!
ReplyDeleteAbout your blogs, will I liked seeing your babies mixed in with your creations of cards and your beautiful Garden too.... It was a nice way of seeing the whole you in one place. But I understnad why you did it at the time too.
I say Make it EASY on YOURSELF. If that means having both blog going at onec then so be it... but my vote is make it one!
Happy Belated Birthday, Wally! I check this blog every once in a while:) I sure don't mind if you post pictures of Wally and Lulu on your other blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Wally! It's always fun to celebrate their birthdays, even though they don't know what we're doing, they like the attention LOL The time goes so quickly! I enjoy reading about your fur children and flowers on both blogs. A blog is a personal sharing with other people! So glad you share with us. People can skip your blog post that day if they are not interested - but you can be sure that most of your blogging friends are eager to see EVERYTHING that matters to you, Miss Leslie! xoxox
