Welcome to my Golden Retriever bubble. It's safe here and the weather's fine. I hope you don't mind a little step back in time a few months. I should have shared these photos back in early December when they were taken, but better late than never. At the time I was wanting a fall photo for the calendar and I thought this setting was pretty and colorful, so I wouldn't let Rich rake the leaves until after we'd had a nice, dry day for a photo shoot. I ended up with almost too many to choose from, but here are a few:
All you need to do is turn on the news to know why our bubble is a nice place to be. Here is not the place to dwell on the negative. Here is where we find happiness and comfort. I just wanted to invite you in and share some of that.

Do we get to vote on which one we like the best? I like the one with the two of them looking sideways and the house in the background. They are really beautiful dogs and I enjoy all your posts with them. I even send them to my husband's email so he can enjoy them also.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspiration of peace. I love your dogs - they are so well behaved and your husband is so good to them. No matter what chore he does the dogs are always HELPING and he does not mind that they get in his way
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you were not a professional animal photographer in another life, Leslie? Not only do I love the photos, but your prettily colored leaves, courtesy of Mother Nature. I do like the same photo that Barbara likes because who can EVER get their fur children to DO that pose? LOL But I also like the singles because it reflects each of their personalities at that moment. With shaking arms and hands, I took pictures of a few plants and Kilo today, and promptly dropped my entire OPEN iPad into the dew-laden, recently tilled soil of the garden. The lens is coated, of course. Not sure if the photos came out or not because of the tremors, but Jack will blow off the soil with his compressor once the dirt has dried. SHEESH! I not only dropped it, but flung it about 5 feet outward, so it was embedded nice and deeply. LOL Maybe I should get some sort of camera necklace so that won't happen again LOL
ReplyDeleteLike you, my heart touches everyone who is suffering because of the greed or anger belonging to others, but am grateful for places of peace. I suppose that throughout the thousands of generations before us, people have learned how to cope in the midst of fear and adversity.
love you, my sweet, opposite-the-country friend!
xo
Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI just got caught up on your last few posts. What beautiful pictures, Leslie!!! Thank you so much for sharing them. Home is my favorite place to be, too:)
ReplyDeleteWhat beauties, Leslie!
ReplyDeleteAhh Leslie, thank you so much for your peaceful bubble. The world sure needs more of them.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your bubble. I'm tired of the real world.
ReplyDeleteLove your babies and your bubble!!!
ReplyDeleteYour posts always make me smile-thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love your posts. We've been avoiding the daily news with staying outside. We are fortunate to live in a forest and can escape like you into a special bubble. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI find myself in need of some time in your GR Bubble. I lost my Mom this weekend, and just want to concentrate on the immeasurable love and guidance she gave me for 67 years. I know Wally and Lulu can help me with that. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteWish we could all have a bubble. I love the first photo the best, but how could there be a bad photo of these two gorgeous creatures. I love my little bubble with my kitties and butterflies. Last evening I had a Black Swallowtail come and dance around my backyard for a really long time. I don't know why because I don't grow anything that they would like, but it stayed for over an hour and I was able to get some beautiful photos of it. I don't think she will see this, but I will be sending up prayers for your follower Linda S. I know what it's like to lose your mom.
ReplyDeleteYes, I did see your act of kindness Margaret, and I say thank-you.

DeleteThe kids are so photogenic! And so is the background. Thanks for sharing, Leslie.
ReplyDeleteHow could you pick just one? They're all beautiful! Thanks soooo much for sharing these lovely pups
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your bubble with us. The photos are beautiful. Those two must just bring you so much joy!
ReplyDeleteThere is only ONE word. L O V E !!
ReplyDeleteLeslie, You bring joy to so many people with your pictures and stories on this blog. I love seeing your 'kids' and especially love seeing the love in their eyes when they are looking at you. If you're taking reservations for the bubble, I want to sign up! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou could make a fortune inviting people to your bubble! LOL
And in this time it is sure nice to take a break from it all and see these two cuties posing for pictures, before you know it you will be taking more fall photo's of them, time just seems to be flying by! I love the fourth shot, looks like are you going to take more pictures :) and the last is so sweet, both of them looking so admiringly!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet photos of Wally and Lulu. Your Love for your kids really shows my friend. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your beautiful bubble! And the fact that you share it with us so we can join you there, if only for a few minutes. I truly believe that our fur-babies were put on this earth as just one more blessing from God to allow us to have a "preview" of what is to come. I tell Brady every day that he is a blessing & I always follow that statement with a thank you to God!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are fabulous! How could even choose even one, they are all beautiful! I always said if everyone in the world were as nice as my Nellie was, the world would be a perfect place. I just dn;t understand why she had to go when there are so many evil ones instead. Enough!! I was offered my 3rd Golden doodle last night, this one is 4 years old, the hubby just won't give in...sigh!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a bubble moment!! Love these two and how happy my heart feels whenever I see new pics of them!!
ReplyDeleteBubbles moments are good Leslie. Both Wally and Lulu look wonderful -- and there's the sweet yellow house in the background too. No matter the season your photographs always bring a smile and warmth to our hearts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy bubble it is... they are just so huggable! I like the last picture as Wally looks to be thinking "another picture and call it good for the day" Where Lulu is thinking "How about this angel mom, or how about just another photo" hee hee John always laughs at my "fur baby thinking". I tell you what, Ranger has expressions and I truly think if he could talk I would laugh at what he is thinking of me sometimes. they are like us just can't actually talk. What a great hug for the morning Leslie. I am late as I am catching up but its good either way. ;-)
