Scotch Broom in Bloom

Scotch broom grows in wild abundance here, so pretty against a crystal blue sky.  When you’re reclining on a mossy slope in the sunshine it’s even easier to appreciate its beauty.  Simple pleasures are the best.

    I totally agree! Simple pleasures are the best. The simple beauty of nature always speaks to me....this beautiful yellow cannot be recreated!

    Sounds idyllic and the photo is lovely Leslie. What a beautiful blue sky and the broom is gorgeous against it. We've been having rain for past few days, dull grey skies again today. I haven't noticed the broom flowering here yet, but I think it smells wonderful when it does.

    What a great photo! The sky looks freshly washed and put out to dry - the colour is so vivid and the perfect backdrop for the Scotch Broom.
