When it comes to card making I have a habit of starting starting something, but then moving on to another project before the first is finished. Consequently I have several stamped and digital images, both colored and awaiting color, a few card layouts awaiting an image, and a basket full of card parts. Tsk, tsk. I’m trying to break that habit and finish a few of these projects. Not to say I won’t start something new in the meantime, but hopefully I’ll finish it, as well. Today I’m sharing one of a few cards I finished over the weekend.
This is a digital stamp from Squigglefly called Tea Roses. It’s printed on Flourishes Classic White cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I hope you enjoy it!
Beautiful card, and your colouring is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous colors you chose for this image! The finished product is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI wish I understood how you make things look so beautiful. This is stunning.
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow! Your coloring and shading is absolutely phenomenal! Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis looks as if the teacup is sitting right in front of me! This is so beautiful. You color so beautifully. Love your cards!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got a chance to complete some cards, Leslie! What a beauty this is!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is so gorgeous! Your coloring is just awesome and I love how you displayed the image on the card.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness. At first look I thought it was a photograph! I love the way you arranged the elements. It all works wonderfully. I have a whole cupboard of beautiful cups and no one wants them any more - truly a different time.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? How is this possible? I can't believe your coloring skills and how absolutely incredibly rich and realistic this looks...are you sure this isn't a photograph? LOL Just amazing Leslie!!!!
ReplyDeleteExquisite, Leslie. Every detail is perfect. It seems I could smell the roses and sip tea from the cup. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGASP! Amazing my friend. Phenomenal coloring...and that black background?!!! ! How on earth did you do that girl?
ReplyDeleteI had to look twice. Like some of the others, I thought I saw a photo. Then I realized, it's better than that - it's a Leslie card with your sensational colouring and design. Nobody does this better. So happy you have time for cards, now and then. They always blow me away.
ReplyDeleteAw c'mon.... seriously? this is gorgeous! You are one talented lady for sure. This looks so real, like I can reach out and smell it! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy is right Leslie. Purely stunning girl!
ReplyDeleteWow this is gorgeous! Love the colors you used, and that Tea Roses image is wonderful. I went to the website and looked at the other images by that artist, and I did recognize a Bunny Basket image that I think you used before. I have yet to try a digi image, so thanks for the inspiration. To me, your lament about starting so many projects compared with completing them sounds like you are merely enjoying your freedom. Sometimes, we tend to "should" ourselves too much. Of course, there's my habit/addiction of ogling what others create as opposed to even starting something! Linda
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Leslie. Your colouring is phenomenal - the image looks so real. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. The colors are just gorgeous and it's so perfectly embellished.

ReplyDeleteOH. WOW!!! This teacup is popping right off the card!! Absolutely beautiful!! And I have no doubt there's a fragrance to those roses! How can there NOT be! (y'know...there's not enough exclamation marks to describe this?!?)

Wow, Leslie! Your creative talent continues to amaze me! This looks more like an oil painting than a stamped image. And, as always, your choice of patterned papers is spot on! (No pun intended!) I love it!!
