Welcoming A New Arrival

Our neighbors across the street just had a baby girl and I wanted to welcome her to the neighborhood with a little gift and a hand stamped card.  The dog was already stamped and just needed some color.  It’s all about keeping it simple, seeing as how the sun finally came out and the garden is calling my name.

I used Popcorn the Bear Bundle of Joy stamp set, watercolored on 90 lb. hot press watercolor paper.

    I love the simplicity of this card, the pup is so cute.
    I think I must have the full set of popcorn stamps, I couldn't resist them, but haven't used them much yet. I must get them out again, thanks for the inspiration.

    Oh my word Leslie! What you refer to as simple is still so gorgeous. Adorable card. AND, I have this set, because a certain enabler not mentioning any names (her initials are LM)posted cards previously that I just loved. Have a wonderful day enjoying the golden sun and the golden pups.

    It doesn't get much sweeter than this. Love the way the little fellow is draped over your ribbon/lace combo. Only good things happen when a cute stamp and your talent are married. Have a grrrreat day!
